A long time ago I tried Jenny Craig. It's not a bad program, but it's kind of like trying to live on TV dinners. I also did slim fast for awhile. Theres a lot of different programs. What have you tried?
(I hope it's okay to post here. I didn't see a sub forum for other programs)

I'm doing Herbalife and having success. Yay! When I did Weight Watchers it took a long time to see results and it was very discouraging. Even fen-phen was slow. Even with Herbalife, the scale isn't moving, but my body is different. I like how I'm looking much better. I still have a long way to go, though.
Since I find breakfast and lunch to be very uninteresting meals since I'm home all day, I have soy protein shakes and supplements instead. Then I eat dinner with my husband. It's been easy for me this time.

Anybody ever try the cabbage soup diet? Oh it was horrible. Let's just say I didn't last long on that one. I hate cabbage :D I tried L.A. weight loss for a while. I actually lost quite a bit of weight with it. But it is so expensive. I did like how you can get one on one counseling though. That really helped me out a lot I think. It was nice to know that someone other than family and friends wanted me to be successful with my weight loss.

I thought about doing LA Weight Loss. The cost kept me from it. That and the program is just an old version of Weight Watchers. LOL! When I went for my consultation, the coach didn't listen to anything I said. Why would I go to her?
How much weight did you lose? How long did it take you? Did you keep it off?

I tried the cabbage soup diet. I actually like cabbage so the first few days seemed easy. But they had some weird stuff on that diet. I recall a banana and skim milk day... seems absurd doesn't it? Anyway, after about a week I was so sick of that soup that I couldn't even gag it down. Definitely not a wise weight loss plan.

Nutri System looks like it would be similar to Jenny Craig. But it also looks like it's more expensive. Has anyone tried it? If so, have you had success with it? It seems like it's easy enough to stick to a diet for week or two but then you get tired of it. I thought about just changing the diet plan every week. Do you guys think that would work or would I just end up screwing up my metabolism?

I tried Slim-fast a while back. That was when they only had like strawberry, vanilla and chocolate. Now I heard they have like coffee and mocha or something like that. A friend of mine loves it and she doesn't need to lose any weight, even her daughter likes it, she says it "tasty good" very cute.
I remember the cabbage soup thing too I remember a plain tuna out of the can day with no mayo or anything yuck.
