I had a year membership to Curves and I enjoyed going. It was nice being only with women. I got good at the program and was able to do the machines without trouble. But even going three times a week and working out as hard and as fast as I could, I didn't see any real results. Don't mistake me, I did see results. Just not enough to continue with the most boring workout and no aerobics machines. Also, while I could do the Curves workout fairly easily, I wasn't fit enough to do a lot of other types of exercises. So I didn't renew.

I thought about going to curves but the nearest one is 15 minutes away. I had a friend that did it and she didn't see any results and thought it was a waste of time so I didn't even bother. Plus I tried to find out how much it was to join and how much it was a month but they wouldn't tell me over the phone and they didn't have any information on their website. I liked the all woman part of it but never gave it a try.

I think this is a good discussion and the reason for it is simple, my wife has been looking at Curves as a way to exercise. She has a trial pass for 3 visits. I would be interested to hear more input about what they have to offer. So post here!!
