Does anyone take the one a day weight smart vitamin? They are supposed to help you lose weight. I tried them and didn't notice any difference at all. I kept doing my same activity and kept the same diet and no difference. I found that if I didn't eat enough they made my feel like I was going to vomit. I read some testimonials on this vitamin from other people that have taken it and it worked for them. I am now taking another vitamin, not one that is supposed to help with weight loss but there wasn't any change anyway, and this one doesn't make me sick.

I've never tried those, I usually just take the multi vitamins I get at Sam's club. And knowing they made you sick would tend to make me not want to try them. Medications often make me sick. So I try to stick with what I know and I always value other people's opinions on anything like this.

I tried them and didn't notice any difference. I do take my vitamins with food so my stomach doesn't get upset. I quit taking that kind in favor of a less expensive multi-vitamin.

Yeah, I think that it is just advertising when it comes to those vitamins. Usually when someone sells something that they claim will help you lose weight, you'll see in the fine print that it says "when combined with a low calorie diet and exercise", lol. Of course, then you'd lose weight anyway. Just getting all of the vitamins and minerals you need will help your body work more efficiently, therefore you'd probably do better when trying to lose weight. One-A-Day vitamins are good, but I tend to go for the less expensive vitamins.

I buy Target brand vitamins. Target has a Weight Loss version too. Of course you have to exercise and cut calories to lose weight. Unfortunately, there is no miracle cure. I'm still waiting for the day. :p

Are Target vitamins cheap? I buy most of my ibuprofen and stuff at Target 'cause it seems to be much cheaper. I imagine that their vitamins would be cheaper too. I believe in taking vitamins. Although everyone says you should get all your vitamins and minerals from the foods you eat, it's hard to trust the food you eat anymore, unless you grow your own vegetables and stuff. So, I take vitamins because even if it's just psychological, it makes me feel better.

I can't think of the price difference at the moment, but it's significant. I need to get more of DH's vitamins and was going to Target today to drop off a prescription, so I'll write down what the name brands cost compared. Even the name brands would be cheaper at Target. I buy all my non-grocery items there (or Wal-Mart, but I like Target much better) for the savings.

I don't take vitamins at all. I probably should though. I imagine that dieting and excersize take away some of the nutrients your body needs and you probably need to put those back. Maybe I'll try the target vitamins.

I bought a 200-count bottle of men's vitamins for $7.69. The same size One-A-Day Men's was $11.79.

One-A-Day Weight Smart was $13.99 for 200. The Target brand was $8.49.

One-A-Day Carb Smart was $7.34 for 50. The Target brand was $4.99.
