When I was a member of Curves I did the Six-Week Challenge. The Challenge is video and support group to supplement the way of eating that's in the book written by Curves founder Gary Heavin. The WOL is another low carb diet along the lines of South Beach, but different. I liked being told what to eat when. I lost some weight too.

I have thought about trying curves but with gas prices so high the nearest one for me is 20 minutes away. How much is it? I tried to call and ask but they wouldn't give me any information over the phone. They wanted me to set up an appt. to come in and talk to someone. I even tried their website and nothing there either. A friend of mine did it and followed the diet along with and was very disappointed with the whole thing. She said she didn't lose any weight at all and she looked at it as a waste of money. I do know that there are a lot of people who do it and love it and do very well with it.
