I find that the best thing for me when I am tempted by sweets is to simply keep them out of the house, period. When there are treats in the house I will eat them even if I am not hungry. I am not the type of person that if I want chocolate I will go the store to get it but if I had it I would eat it. I know some people who can resist temptation when there are goodies laying around and not be bothered by them. Not me, so the best thing is just to not have them around in the first place.

I am with you wwqueen. I have zero and I mean zero will power. I can't take dh to the store with me because he buys all the stuff that tastes good but it terrible for you. Ice cream, cookies, candy aarrggghhh...it drives me nuts that he can eat it and not gain an ounce and I look at it and gain 12 pounds :D Once in a while I do indulge and eat a nice treat but I definitely can't do it on a regular basis and maintain my weight. I agree out of sight out of mind.
